The cell phone signal jammer is a high-power and high-current device. It will generate a lot of heat when it is working. If the heat can’t be dissipated in time, it will affect the operation of the device, such as being unable to block signal, or the jamming range becomes unstable, and the over-heat device may lead to a fire. Considering the signal, jammers are usually used in critical places, like examination rooms, conference rooms, prisons, private meetings, etc. Any issue with the signal jammers can cause so many troubles. That’s why we put a lot of effort into designing an excellent cooling system for our products to ensure they are stable and reliable.
Jammer Master is a professional signal jammer supplier integrating R&D, engineering, production, and customer support! We run our facilities to ensure the product quality is entirely within our control.
As a professional manufacturer of signal jammers, we have an advanced solution for heat dissipation. And we take heat dissipation more seriously than other companies. This post will introduce the most common heat dissipation solutions used in our signal jammers.
So without further ado, let’s get started.
1. Ventilation Holes
The high-power signal jammer that uses natural heat dissipation is generally a fully sealed heat dissipation shell, and the shell is radiator itself. All the components, such as switching power supplies, radio frequency modules are integrated inside the shell.
The material of the shell is aluminum, which is formed by die-casting through different molds. They are generally used in places with harsh external environments, such as places with a lot of sand and dust, or places that need to be equipped with explosion-proof boxes, such as gas stations, oil depots, hazardous chemical warehouses, and other places.
Mobile phone signal jammers using this kind of heat dissipation shell generally require a wide coverage area and a strong ability to adapt to harsh environments and ensure the regular operation of the internal radio frequency module through natural heat dissipation.
2. Fan cooling
There are many types of cell phone signal jammers that dissipate heat through auxiliary fans. The radiators used in this cell phone signal jammers are mainly aluminum profiles cut and then installed on the chassis shell. The radio frequency module and the power lamp components are installed in the chassis.
The heat dissipation is divided into two parts. One part is to pump the heat inside the chassis to the outside, and the air from the outside is sent to the inside to form air convection and transport the heat to the external environment. The second part is to install the fan in the cooling tooth area corresponding to the radiator module. Then the fan will dissipate heat to the place that generates more heat to ensure the regular operation of the internal radio frequency module.
3. Heat sink heat dissipation: light and firm, good thermal conductivity
Among the materials, silver has the best thermal conductivity, followed by copper and aluminum. However, silver is expensive and is rarely used for heat dissipation; although copper has good thermal conductivity, it does not dissipate heat quickly, which may cause the cell phone signal jammer unable to work 24 hours a day. The machine’s heat cannot be dissipated, forming an invisible space in a particularly narrow space.
Heat source. The danger can be imagined if you encounter a high temperature in summer. In contrast, aluminum is the most ideal. It is light and robust, has good thermal conductivity, and dissipates heat quickly. Suitable CPU air-cooling radiators are all made of aluminum alloys. Therefore, the casing of the mobile phone signal blocker is all made of cast aluminum (cast aluminum alloy) material + copper bars for rapid heat conduction and rapid heat dissipation through aluminum heat sinks, giving the machine enough heat dissipation area.
The design of thickening and adding red copper is adopted on the contact surface of the signal jammer, which is most likely to generate heat. The copper strip can quickly absorb heat and accelerate heat absorption through the aluminum alloy. Inside, the principle of air convection is fully utilized. The temperature is automatically detected through the thermistor, and the fan is started. The wind speed is slow when the heat is low, and vice versa.
The heat generated by the work of the internal components is blown to the outside, and the surrounding low-temperature air is replenished to form convection and play a role in circulation. Combining inside and outside to form an ideal heat dissipation method. Through natural ventilation, fan cooling, and heat dissipation, the internal heat of the mobile phone signal blocker, is dissipated invisibly.
The signal jammers were designed and produced by Jammer Master adopts the above cooling systems, which can be turned on and used throughout the year.
