Legal Authorization

Due to the prohibition on the use of signal jammers, it is not possible to obtain legal authorization to use one in Bhutan. The only exceptions to this prohibition are government authorities, which may use signal jammers in the course of their official duties. Individuals or businesses wishing to block signals in specific areas must use alternative methods such as installing firewalls or anti-wave barriers.
