Laws and Regulations on the Use of Signal Jammers in Armenia

The use of signal jammers is considered illegal in Armenia. The Telecommunications Law adopted in 2005 explicitly prohibits the use of signal jammers. According to this law, only authorized regulatory agencies can use signal jammers within the scope of their official duties. Furthermore, the Telecommunications Committee of Armenia (TCA) is the regulatory body responsible for regulating the use of signal jammers. The TCA is a government agency that is responsible for regulating and supervising the entire telecommunications sector in Armenia.

How to Obtain Legal Authorization to Use a Signal Jammer in Armenia

As mentioned earlier, only authorized regulatory agencies can use signal jammers in Armenia. If you want to use a signal jammer for personal or commercial purposes, you must first obtain authorization from the TCA. To do this, you need to submit a written application to the TCA, explaining the reasons for your request and the details of the device you wish to use. The TCA will evaluate your application and inform you of their decision.
