Why Using High-Power Cell Phone Jammers to Interfere with a 6-Story Teaching Building is Not Recommended

However, there are several reasons why this approach is not recommended.

Reason 1: Difficulty in Interference

As the height of the building increases, the signals from surrounding base stations that reach the teaching building are less obstructed. On higher floors, the signal strength is slightly higher compared to lower floors. This increases the difficulty of interference. Additionally, the installation position of high-power Cell Phone Jammers is generally limited to a height of about 6-9 meters, which is equivalent to 2 floors. Installing them at higher positions would further increase the installation difficulty and pose safety concerns.

Reason 2: Installation and Cost

For teaching buildings with less than 4 stories, the installation of high-power Cell Phone Jammers requires separate installations in the front and back of the building. The number of jammers needed depends on the strength of the mobile signals in the area. In normal circumstances, a minimum of 2 jammers is required for both the front and back, totaling 4 high-power Cell Phone Jammers. Moreover, the cost of high-power Cell Phone Jammers is significantly higher compared to low-power ones.

Considering the above reasons, it is not recommended to use high-power Cell Phone Jammers in a 6-story teaching building. The most cost-effective approach would be to install a low-power Cell Phone Jammer in each classroom, which can also be connected to a network for centralized control and management.
